Dear UT Pre-Law NBLSA Family,

 

     I am honored to serve as President of the University of Texas at Austin Pre-Law Division of The National Black Law Students Association Longhorn Chapter for the 2014-2015 school year. I have been apart of this organization since its inception and it has been such an amazing journey watching this organization grow. From the growth of membership, to the growth of leadership, it has been awe inspiring. This organization was created to increase the percentage of minorities applying to law school and  I believe it has reached this goal. The graduating members of Pre-Law NBLSA are reaching new heights and I cannot wait to continue this legacy.  We are going to continue our efforts  to offer career opportunities, networking, scholarship, and mentorship to the members. I want to make our presence more known on this campus and to make ourselves known not only as a professional organization, but a social and political force here on campus with more community outreach projects to enable us to  impart what we know and learn about the law to help improve the lives of everyone we come in contact with. We are here to prepare future law students for law school and the legal field, while building a bond that will last a lifetime. I am excited to see where this year takes us.
